Photograph No. 4 - The Battlefield from Battle Abbey

Photo taken from a window in Battle Abbey overlooking the terrace. It represents the view
of a Saxon soldier positioned slightly to the right of the Saxon centre. If you follow a line
from the trucks over the pond (not very clear) [the large white rectangular patch that
you can see through the break between the two trees on the left side of the picture]
you can see a small white rectangular banner in the background - this is where
photo 5 is taken from. Therefore, this photo and the next give corresponding
views of the enemy by the Saxons and Normans, respectively.
