The History of Lord Seaton's Regiment V1:
The 52nd Light Infantry at the Battle of Waterloo

By William Leeke
Published:  1866, London, Hatchard and Co., 187, Piccadilly.

This is volume 1 of a 2-volume work by the Reverend William Leeke, who served as an ensign in the 52nd Light Infantry at Waterloo.  There are 26 chapters in this volume.  Only the first six chapters, which comprise about one-third of the volume, deal with Waterloo.  The remaining chapters concern the occupation of France after Waterloo and Leeke's subsequent adventures after his regiment returned to England, following the occupation.  There are several footnotes in this volume that refer to appendixes; however, all of the appendixes are included in volume 2.  Even though I cannot give you the appendixes referred to, I am retaining these several footnotes in the unlikely event that a reader may someday stumble across a copy of volume 2 and wish to read any of those appendixes.
