Published: 1892, Longmans, Green, and Company, London and New York

Baron Marbot's memoirs are printed in two volumes, the first consisting of a Translator's Preface and 48 chapters, and the second consisting of 44 chapters and an Epilogue. The memoirs are well written and to say they make exciting reading would be a great understatement. The footnotes in the chapters are hyperlinked to the text to these so that you can return to where you left off in a chapter after reading a footnote. If you notice any typos, please inform me,  ,by email describing the typo and the chapter it is in. Remember, however, that you will be reading a book that was written and set into print over 100 years ago when the rules of English grammar were and many words were not spelled as they are today.

Now, read and enjoy perhaps the best memoir to come out of the Napoleonic era, The Memoirs of Baron de Marbot.
