Overview

This site is dedicated to the Teter Family History in America and in particular, to our branch, the Philip and Margaret (Thompson) Teter family. Philip Teter was descended from Hans Jorg Dieter (Teter) through his son Paul, the Revolutionary Soldier, and then his son, Abraham Teter, Sr.

While we do not intend to list full family trees of the Teter Family, we will include information on various branches we have encountered, along with as much documentation as we have discovered thus far. If you are a member of a particular branch and have more information, corrections and/or additions, we would love to hear from you. If you are a member of a Teter Family not represented here, let us know and we will add your information.

Before using our site, please read our Privacy Notice and Terms of Use.
